From 1985 to 1988, he worked with federal and state legislators to promote and encourage the use of renewable fuels which would enable efficient and clean energy streams while significantly reducing our dependence on foreign suppliers. Meanwhile, he identified the components, proportions, and specifications various users would require if they replaced their usual fuel supply with a type of recycled oil.
